- Qualifications. BSc in Botany, T. Shevchenko National University of Kiev.
- Current position. Freelance scientist.
- Expertise. Protozoology, one of a very small number of specialists in myxomycetes in the former Soviet Union. Participant in Darwin Initiative project Fungi of Ukraine and co-author of entries for myxomycetes in the major checklist published as a result of that project.
- Languages. Ukrainian, Russian, English (adequate).
- Expeditions & fieldwork. Participant in the Royal Geographical Society's first Ralph Brown Expedition (1998); Poland (1996 - supported by UK Darwin Initiative and British Mycological Society); Ukrainian Carpathians (1994, 1995 - supported by UK Darwin Initiative); Dniprovo-Orelskiy reserve (1996); Kaniv reserve (1993,1995).
